The Scoundrel (aka Harry) needs little introduction being one of the most popular Gypsy Cob Stallions in the last few years. He is a lovely stamp with stacks of bone and substance yet combines real quality. He has a lovely front, with a great length of quarter and a temperament that is truly second to none which he seems to pass on to his offspring. He is a really straight free mover. He is fantastic with his ladies and happily runs out with mares and foals and often baby sits his children when they are weaned – he really is a one off!! His fertility is excellent when covering naturally or via AI. He has offspring excelling in the show ring and is a super cross on Native or light weight TB type mares to increase bone, substance, colour and sanity!!
He was shown only twice and was Chaps Champion both times but due to such incredibly busy stud seasons we left it at that!! We let his offspring do his talking!!!
He was granted Elite Stallion status with Chaps in 2018 which he earnt through his progeny excelling in the show ring. He certainly is a proven sire of Multi champion stock
He has all types of offspring doing incredibly well in the ring too any to mention them all!! One of his most successful sons is Burghwallis Paparazzi who has just become a Chaps Graded stallion. He has too many County Championships to list and has produced many HOYS finalists.
Moortown Lucky Strike was a top class Show Cob placed RI along with County Championships and Moortown Hooray Henry was 7th at Hoys 2017 and was Best Traditional Horse in his first season under saddle! Other successes include Moortown Charity Res Yearling of the year Chaps Champs amongst many other wins.
