Ansiei is a quality stallion and is a full thoroughbred. He shows great athleticism, speed and technique, covering the ground easily and taking the jumps in his stride. He has three very elastic gaits, making him the perfect sire for eventing, show jumping, sport horse and all-rounders.

Ansiei is a fully approved thoroughbred stallion by Highest Honor. He has a superb pedigree containing not one, but two crosses of the famous Grey Sovereign. The Grey Sovereign line has been extremely influential in infusing blood in European warmbloods and appears in the pedigree of many top show jumpers including Olympic performers Clinton and Corrado.

Performance Record

Ansiei is a stakes winner with total winnings of £181,286 from just a few starts and was second (beaten by a short head) in the 2010 Italian Derby.  He returned to training after time off for covering and finished third in a maiden hurdle at Limerick in 2013.  This was his first run back and demonstrates that not only does he have speed he also has a super jump.  He is an impressive looking horse and an athletic mover with an uphill trot and canter. Therefore, in addition to being a beautiful looking horse he is also a top class racehorse and athlete.
