Wombat as he is known at home is homebred by Warrior. Warrior is a son of Tangelo v/d Zuuthoeve x Heartbreaker, who competed at London Olympics and Global Tour shows; before being sold he won numerous classes here in the UK with Louise Pavitt, Including Hickstead, Royal Windsor, HOYS and RIHS.
Wombat is out of Casantos Lady, a scopey mare who competed BS after having Wombat, we are so pleased with her son that she has now become a broodmare proper!
Wombat shows massive scope and is careful and brave, he has exceptional paces with a generous length of stride, superb hind leg and is a fantastic type with a great attitude.
As a young horse he had multiple wins in age classes including Internationally at Lummen, at Arena UK, Young Horse Championships at Addington & qualifying for HOYS. He then stepped up to win and placings at 1.60m and he is consistently in the line up at national and International shows. Suffolk County, Hickstead, Windsor, Oslo, Helsinki, HOYS & Gijon.
